How to Request the Chime Visa® Debit Card
Requesting the Chime Visa® Debit Card is simple and entirely online. Start by visiting the Chime website or downloading the Chime mobile app. You’ll be prompted to provide basic personal information to open a Chime Checking Account, which is required to receive the debit card. The process typically takes only a few minutes and does not involve a hard credit check. Once your account is approved, Chime automatically sends the Visa debit card to your mailing address—usually arriving within 7–10 business days. While waiting, you can activate your virtual debit card inside the app to begin making purchases online or via mobile wallets. Direct deposit setup is optional but recommended if you want benefits like early paycheck access. After receiving your physical card, activation takes just one tap in the app. The entire experience is designed to be secure, fast, and user-centric.
